The House

History & Environment

The Villa des Sources was built at the end of the 70’s by my grandparents, who managed an hotel-restaurant in Langogne.

Located on a plot of just over one hectare, it offers, thanks to its dominant position, a magnificent view of the northern entrance and the Langogne station below as well as the mountains of Lozère on the horizon.

Completely renovated and refurbished, the Villa is a true haven of peace, both outside and inside.

Outside, the large property offers a multitude of relaxation areas. A beautiful playground, bordered by greenery and the large vegetable garden, promises you beautiful moments of conviviality around a game of “petanque”, bowling or cornhole.

For the less “sporty”, the large terrace, facing south, is the ideal place to laze on a deckchair and admire the Monts of Lozère on the horizon.

The property offers a multitude of other small places to sit and enjoy the tranquility of the place.

You can also say hello to our loyal gardeners with big ears, Dusty and Basile, who help with the maintenance of the plot with great fervour.

Inside

The Villa offers a large living space that starts with the covered terrace that connects the inside and outside.

Offering a magnificent view without the slightest neighbour, it is the ideal place to relax while sipping a drink or a good book in your hands.

The large kitchen, very bright, opens onto a balcony perfect for admiring the landscape at sunrise while enjoying a good coffee.

You can sometimes see the mist covering the Allier and Langogne while a bright sun illuminates the sky.

The beautiful dining room, bathed in light, overlooks, through 2 large bay windows, onto the covered terrace.

This is where the host table takes place for convivial meals around traditional and family cooking.

It also hosts a small space where you can find local craft productions as well as various information on the activities and interests of the Langogne surroundings.

In the continuation, a large living room where a beautiful wood stove takes pride of place giving the room a cosy and warm atmosphere.

A small library offers a variety of books, including documentary and historical books on Langogne and its surroundings as well as comics and paperback novels for a lighter read.

You will also find board games and puzzle games for pleasant moments of relaxation.

The 4 bedrooms, each with their own style, offer great comfort and quality bedding for a good night’s rest.
